The Ferrari 488 GTE triumphs at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2019, honouring the first place finish 70 years after its first victory on the track.
Tubi Style celebrates the victory of the Ferrari 488 GTE EVO on the “Circuit de la Sarthe”, where the 24 Hours of Le Mans came to a conclusion just a few days ago, crowning the Ferrari star of the race in the GTE Pro class.
The company’s technical office, which prepared the special GTE exhaust line for Michelotto engineering team, guaranteed the performance and reliability throughout the tough competition against the other cars on the track.
Conquering the victory in the classic French endurance competition in its class with the GTE-Pro version, the Prancing Horse honoured the first triumphant win 70 years ago, by Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon with the 166 MM Barchetta Pininfarina.
As a the technical partner of Michelotto Automobili responsible for the construction of the Ferrari 488 GTE, Tubi Style designed an exhaust system developed ad hoc for the 4.0, V8, twin-turbo 500 Hp GTE engine, allowing the car to give its all, and not only on the track.
During qualifications, things did not appear easy for the AF Corse team’s Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. Instead, after intense work performed by all of the players, it was transformed into an excellent, competitive race that ended with car No. 51, driven by Alessandro Pierguidi, James Calado, and Daniel Serra, taking the victory with almost a whole lap advantage over the Porsche 911 RSR No. 91.
Tubi Style from Maranello, drawing directly from this victorious experience, continues to surpass its personal challenge, inserting in its aftermarket products the same details and high quality of the exhaust system that led to a car winning the top GT race in the world.
