Hometown hero Luca Ludwig (MERTEL Motorsport) secured a hard-fought and crucial victory in front of his local fans. “It was a tough race,” said Ludwig. “I had to push to the limit because the competition, especially from Giacomo Altoè, was fierce. But I’m thrilled to have won here at home.” Ludwig’s performance kept the crowd on edge until the chequered flag, once again showcasing the excitement that the Ferrari Challenge delivers.
In the Coppa Shell, Ernst Kirchmayr (Kessel Racing) took the win, while teammate Henry Hassid (Kessel Racing) clinched the championship with a third-place finish, capping off an extraordinary season with his ninth podium. The second day brought more triumphs, with a new champion crowned ahead of the final round. Giacomo Altoè (Emil Frey Racing) claimed his seventh victory of the season, securing the Trofeo Pirelli title after an intense race. “Today was challenging, but after Ludwig dropped out, I managed to take the lead and win. I’m very happy,” said Altoè, highlighting his team’s exceptional effort.
